soft tension

This work came from a need to understand what it means to inhabit a surface.

What does it mean to be soft, stretched, and held together?

I keep thinking about how things that protect us can also begin to resemble us, how texture can carry memory. It is less about representation and more about a feeling that sits between comfort and unease, about what quietly lives within what we choose to cover.
